In Newtopia Episode 5, a military helicopter carrying food approaches Tower A, but In-ha quickly realizes the pilots are infected. With food supplies dwindling, he leads a team, including Oh Soo-jeong, downstairs to search for rations, eliminating zombies along the way.

Meanwhile, Kang Young-joo, Seo Jin-wook, Alex, and a new student head toward Tower A's military base but find the entrance overrun by zombies. Opting for the basement, they attempt to retrieve Alex's car for supplies. While searching, they are ambushed by a horde. Alex desperately throws Molotov cocktails to fend them off, but the flames consume both him and the attacking zombies. The student watches in sorrow before walking away.
