The k-drama revolves around the story of Lee Da-eum, a terminally ill patient who aspires to become an actress. On the other hand, Lee Je-ha is a talented young director, son of a popular director, who has just disappeared after giving a big hit with his debut film. Now, he is struggling to direct something new and make a comeback. However, fate plays its part and he ends up choosing his father's film 'Love In White' as his comeback film. But he wants to make it in his own way, focusing more on its actual writing. In a surprising turn of events, Lee Je-ha becomes the female lead of his film, while the popular actress Seo-Yeong, with whom Je-ha has a past, takes on the role of a supporting actress.

Even though Da-eum's acting impressed Je-ha, he was quite adamant to cast her due to her terminal illness. Adding more to the tension, she doesn't have much time left, and Je-ha doesn't want to hurry and mess up the quality of his film. In the previous episode of Our Movie, episode 4, things started to get complexed between Lee Je-ha, Lee Da-eum and Seo-Yeong. After Da-eum catches them kissing, she starts to wonder if they have something going on between them. She was taken aback when the male lead of 'Love In White' confessed that he was dating Seo-yeong.

The episode ended with a kissing scene between Lee Da-eum and Lee Je-ha, sending shockwaves of excitement among fans. The ending scene sparked a possibility of a love triangle between Jee-ha, Da-eum and Seo-yeong. Even though Seo-yeong is dating someone else now, she still seems to have feelings for Je-ha.
