Son Heung Min Controversy: After Kim Soo Hyun, it is South Korean footballer Son Heung Min who has come in limelight. He has recently been in headlines for filing a complaint against woman who tried getting a huge amount of money from him after claiming that she got pregnant because of him. Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung Min filed complaint at Gangnam police station on May 7 asking the officers to investigate the women, who is allegedly in her 20s, and a man, who is allegedly in his 40s, regarding the extortion case. Son Heung Min filed a complaint at Gangnam police station stating that he has allegedly been wrongly framed in a case where the woman claimed to have been impregnated by Son Heung Min and was demanding a huge money because of the same. As per Sunday's update in the case, two people have been arrested as per NYTimes reports. They were allegedly blackmailing Tottenham Hotspur captain.

On Saturday, a man who is allegedly in his 40 s was jailed for approaching Son Heung Min somewhere in March this year and threatening the footballer for exposing him in pregnancy case and demanding $50K.

The woman who claimed to have been pregnant was also arrested on Saturday night. As per the reports, Seoul District Court arrested him on the charges of blackmailing the footballer. She allegedly sent Son Heung Min the photographs of her ultrasound and demanding $214K.

In the same case, the police has been accused of potential human rights violation. When the woman in her 20s went to the court for her detention hearing, she was photographer by the press. Her last name has been revealed to be Yang. As Yang came to the hearing covering her face with the folder, a police officer standing next to her took away the folder from her hand. Yang was then left exposed in front of the media. The video instantly went viral and drew much attention with many calling out the officer for violating the human protection rights.
