Squid Game 3: Squid Game Parade Takes Over Seoul Streets As Cast, Director & 38K Fans Celebrate Epic Finale

On June 28, Netflix hosted a vibrant parade and fan gathering in Seoul, Korea. The event featured iconic elements from the series, such as Young-hee and the pink guards, parading through the city from Gwanghwamun to Seoul Plaza. The celebration concluded with a live fan event attended by Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, among others. Fans worldwide joined in to celebrate the series' grand finale.

The preparation for bringing Squid Game to life on Seoul's streets spanned nearly a year. It required meticulous planning and a massive team effort to match the global phenomenon's scale. The event included towering parade floats and thousands of fan applicants, resulting in unforgettable moments.

Event Highlights and Statistics

The parade route stretched approximately 1.2 kilometers through Seoul's heart. A total of 456 staff members were involved in organizing this grand spectacle. The tallest figure in the parade was Young-hee, standing at an impressive 7.5 meters tall.

Ten distinct themes were showcased during the parade. On stage, there were 26 cast members and the director present to engage with fans. Approximately 9,000 people attended the live event, while around 38,000 spectators watched the parade unfold.

Star-Studded Attendance

The event saw an impressive lineup of attendees including Director Hwang Dong-hyuk and actors Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun. Other notable attendees included Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Wi Ha-jun, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yu-ri, Chae Kook-hee, Lee David, Oh Jae-won, Jun Suk-ho, Choi Seung-hyun, Lee Seo-hwan, Won Ji-an, Kim Pub-lae, Kim Si-eun.

Also present were Park Hae-soo and Jung Ho-yeon along with Kim Joo-ryoung and Tripathi Anupam. The presence of these stars added glamour to an already exciting event that celebrated Squid Game's success.
