Aadujeevitham: Renowned Costume Designer Stephy Xavier Predicts The Film Will Etch Its Place In History

'Aadujeevitham Set To Make History': Stephy Xavier, renowned for her work as a costume designer, has now ventured into the field of film direction, making her mark with the movie 'Madhura Manohara Moham.'

Having designed costumes for approximately 100 films and even securing a state award, Stephy Xavier proves her versatility in this new role.

Among Stephy Xavier's upcoming projects, one of the most highly anticipated films is 'Aadujeevitham' (The Goat Life). In an interview with Manorama Online, Stephy Xavier shared her experiences working on the film and her expectations for its success.

"'Aadujeevitham' is a labour of extensive effort and research," Stephy Xavier expressed. "It is a project that I have dedicated the most time to. The characters Najeeb and Sainu from the novel have left a lasting impression on the minds of Malayalis."

Recognising the importance of staying true to the characters, Stephy Xavier explained, "Modern clothes created by a fashion design graduate would not be suitable for Najeeb and Sainu. The audience would not accept it. I firmly believe that I have designed the costumes for 'Aadujeevitham' in the most authentic manner. When filming in a different era, even before our time, attention must be paid to the smallest of details. I have meticulously taken care of even the minutest aspects because I am convinced that 'Aadujeevitham' is a film that will etch its place in history."

Stephy Xavier concluded by stating that 'Aadujeevitham' is the most eagerly awaited movie, surrounded by high expectations.

Aadujeevitham, the eagerly awaited film among Malayalis, is an adaptation of Benyamin's popular Malayalam novel. Prithviraj leads the cast in this cinematic rendition. The recently unveiled trailer has generated significant buzz, while the film's creators assure that it will make a lasting impact on both Malayalam and world cinema.

Helming the project is acclaimed director Blessy. Principal photography for Aadujeevitham commenced in Pathanamthitta in February 2018 and concluded in July 2022. Resul Pookutty serves as the film's sound designer; K. S. Sunil handles the cinematography; Sreekar Prasad oversees the editing; and the music is composed by A. R. Rahman.
