Arthana Binu Accuses Father-Actor Vijayakumar Of Threats: Actress Arthana Binu, known for her work in Malayalam cinema, has made serious allegations against her father and fellow actor Vijayakumar.

Arthana claims that Vijayakumar forcefully entered her house and threatened her. She took to Instagram to share a video of the incident, in which Vijayakumar can be seen jumping over the wall of their residence and threatening Arthana through the window.

This disturbing incident occurred while a pending case against Vijayakumar regarding threats made towards Arthana's mother, sister, and herself was still ongoing.

Arthana Binu Takes Stand Against Father-Actor's Troubling Actions

In her Instagram post, Arthana detailed the events and expressed her frustration with the lack of police action. She explained that despite calling the police for help around 9:45 a.m., no action had been taken. Arthana revealed that the person in the video is her biological father, Vijayakumar, who is also a well-known Malayalam film actor.

She mentioned that there is a protection order in place, issued ten years ago, in favour of her, her mother, and her sister. Arthana, her mother, and her sister live in their maternal house, along with their 85-year-old grandmother. Arthana stated that Vijayakumar has been trespassing for years, and they have filed multiple police cases against him.

During the recent incident, Vijayakumar forcefully entered their compound and threatened them through the open window since the door was locked. Arthana recounted how he threatened to kill her sister and grandmother and warned her to stop acting in movies, asserting that he would go to any extent to enforce his demands.

He also insisted that if she wanted to act, she should only do movies of his choosing. Vijayakumar continued to bang on the window and yell, even badmouthing the team of Arthana's latest Malayalam movie, which she had just finished shooting. Arthana emphasised that all this was happening while there was an ongoing court case filed by her and her mother against Vijayakumar for trespassing and causing problems in their workplaces, as well as creating chaos in her sister's educational institution.

Arthana firmly stated that she acts in movies out of her own will and passion, vowing to continue as long as her health allows. However, she revealed that whenever she acts in a Malayalam movie, her father files cases to prevent her from pursuing her career.

Arthana mentioned an incident involving the movie "Shylock," where Vijayakumar filed a legal case, leading her to sign an official document stating that she acted in the film willingly to prevent its cancellation. Arthana expressed her desire to share more details but was limited by the word count allowed for the Instagram caption. She also mentioned an ongoing case they have filed against Vijayakumar to recover the money and gold he owes her mother.
