Akhil Marar's New Film Project Announced: Akhil Marar, the winner of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 and the director of 'Oru Thathvika Avalokanam,' recently announced his upcoming film project titled 'Omana.' The script is planned to be co-written with Shiju, who was Akil Marar's co-contestant and close friend on Bigg Boss Malayalam.
During a welcoming programme in his hometown, Akhil Marar expressed his perspective on future film roles, stating that he may be seen as the hero in upcoming movies by renowned directors.
He held no grudges against his fellow contestants on the show, emphasising the competitive nature of the programme and the intense stress experienced within the Bigg Boss house. Akil highlighted the significance of adapting to the challenging circumstances, referring to the house as a "pressure cooker," a sentiment echoed by host Mohanlal.
He acknowledged that many participants struggled to cope with the demanding environment, leading to their eventual elimination. Grateful for his victory, Akil Marar recognized the instrumental role played by his fellow contestants, as competition thrives on opposition.

While acknowledging opportunities to portray a hero in films under the guidance of prominent directors, he emphasised that he harboured no grand aspirations. Akhil's primary focus remains on directing his own film, with 'Omana' being the next project on his agenda. The film's theme revolves around intriguing incidents associated with Kottathala, promising an engaging narrative crafted by Akhil Marar and Shiju.
Additionally, Akhil Marar expressed his intention to be a part of Joju George's upcoming film. He also anticipates a busy schedule in the future. Despite the overwhelming love and attention he has received, he admitted to feeling apprehensive, questioning whether such adoration could potentially lead to his downfall. Recognising the importance of staying grounded, Akhil emphasised the value of humility, having learned from past experiences of arrogance.
