Now Akhil Marar's parents are opening up about their son. Akhil's father, Rajendran Pillai, and mother, Ammini Amma, spoke about their son in an interview with YouTube channel Mazhavil Keralam.

Rajendran Pillai said that he is happy with Akhil's growth as a son. Parents never reject their children, whether they are right or wrong. He was a talented person right from his childhood. It was only later that we realised that he had a passion for movies. He reached this position through his own efforts, Akhil's father said.
