Akhil said that he beats his wife, which has become a big controversy in recent days. Mohanlal had also questioned this in the weekend episode. Before that, Gopika Gopi, who came out of Bigg Boss, said in an interview that Akhil had beaten his wife while she was pregnant.

His wife, Lakshmi herself, came forward against it. His wife's response was that Akhil Marar is the best husband in the world. Now, Lakshmi says that she is proud of her husband. But his wife says that there is no point in what people say. "Even in that clip that went viral recently, Akhil is not saying that he will not go to Bigg Boss. He said that you don't have to go to Bigg Boss to become famous; there are other things to do to become famous; that's what he is saying," said Lakshmi.

She said that Akhil is the same person inside and outside the Bigg Boss house. 'He is a playful and funny person, just like what the audience sees in the Bigg Boss house. The first fight that happened in Bigg Boss House was exactly what we expected. He is a person who does not have a violent nature at all. If he feels like hurting someone, he will hurt himself, she said.

"He will get rid of his frustration by slamming his hand on the door or banging on the wall. He expect people to be just. He reacts when he sees any kind of cheating, Lakshmi said.

Lakshmi also talks about how she met Akhil. 'My mother was the first to meet him. My family was initially interested in our marriage. My mother came to know him in regard with a case. He wasn't a conventional politician, so to speak. He was a social worker. We were not in love. There was nothing like a bride seeing ceremony. I saw him when he came to meet my mother. When I saw him, I realised that he is a man with personality,' said Lakshmi.

He is the one who keeps the family unaffected by any problems. He will solve it all by himself. He is a good husband and father. We often argue on matters, and it's a usual thing in any family. Whatever he thinks is right, he will remain firmly in that position. Akhil's wife said jokingly that Akhil is an 'arrogant' person in such matters.
