AMMA Goes High-Tech With Cutting-Edge Digital ID Card For Members; Know The Specifics!
AMMA's High-Tech Digital ID Card: The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has introduced an advanced digital ID card for its members.
During the inauguration, Amma President Mohanlal presented the new ID card to actor Mammootty. This innovative card utilises technology that enables the integration of various services, such as insurance and banking, into a single platform.
Edavela Babu is the mastermind behind this metal card concept, drawing inspiration from a card he obtained while travelling abroad. Edavela Babu emphasised that 'AMMA' is adapting to the changing times, marking the first instance in Kerala where an organisation provides its members with an ID card featuring such advanced technology.
In the initial phase, the new ID card will be issued to members who have completed the digital form of 'AMMA'. It will incorporate a QR code and utilise chip-embedded technology, allowing for convenient centralised updates of all information through dedicated software.
Innovative Features And Sponsorship Opportunities For AMMA's High-Tech ID Card
This card will be made accessible to all 'AMMA' members and can be linked to insurance and banking services, as explained by Edavela Babu.
Furthermore, this versatile card can serve as a lounge card at airports. When members scan the card upon reaching 'AMMA's office, the association will have a record of their attendance without the need for a manual sign-in process. By scanning the card, members will have access to all the relevant information it contains. However, Edavela Babu mentioned that this feature will take some additional time to implement.
Discussions have taken place with digital companies, including the possibility of sponsorship for the card. The names of sponsors will be displayed on the card, creating an additional income stream.
This initiative surpasses what even local banks have accomplished thus far. The card's design was the result of six months of experimentation. Edavela Babu expressed his satisfaction with the interest shown by Lokanath Behera in this endeavor.
