Shane Nigam And Producers Conflict Resolved: AMMA, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists, successfully mediated the conflict between actor Shane Nigam and disgruntled film producers.

Additionally, a crucial decision regarding the membership of young actor Sreenath Bhasi in AMMA is scheduled for Saturday. Both actors had faced a ban from the Malayalam film industry in April due to an alleged "lack of discipline."

Actor Sreenath Bhasi had applied for a fresh membership in AMMA amidst the ongoing controversy. The ban on these young actors was collectively imposed by the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), Kerala Film Producers Associations, and AMMA following numerous complaints about their misconduct on film sets.

Sreenath Bhasi was criticised for neglecting phone calls and consistently arriving late to the sets, while Shane Nigam encountered trouble when he abruptly walked off the filming of Nahas Hidhayath's upcoming movie RDX due to creative differences with the director. Shane's unexpected departure brought the movie's production to a halt.

Film Associations Discontinuation Of Cooperation With Actors

During a joint press conference held on April 25, the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), Kerala Film Producers Association, and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) made a collective announcement stating their decision to discontinue cooperation with actors Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam.

Following this development, Sreenath Bhasi applied for membership in the AMMA organisation. It is customary for actors to sign contracts prior to their involvement in a film, which outline the dates and conditions on the set. This contractual agreement is typically established between the producer's association and AMMA.

However, there were allegations that Sreenath Bhasi declined to sign the contract, citing his non-membership status within AMMA. On the other hand, Shane Nigam, who was also subjected to a ban, currently holds membership in the AMMA organisation.
