Amritha Suresh Strongly Responds To Bala's Accusations About Daughter's Custody: The ongoing dispute between singer Amritha Suresh and actor Bala has taken a new turn as Amritha responded strongly to the allegations made by Bala regarding their daughter Avanthika.
Bala accused Amritha of withholding their daughter from him and levied claims of extortion and a falsified POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) case against him. Amritha, along with her legal representatives, promptly addressed these accusations through a video statement. Additionally, she released the terms agreed upon during their divorce, emphasising the terms regarding their daughter's custody.
Legal Terms Revealed In Custody Dispute: Amritha Suresh vs. Actor Bala
The divorce, settled amicably by mutual consent, stipulated no public accusations from either party. However, Bala allegedly breached this agreement by repeatedly accusing Amritha on social media. As per the divorce terms, Amritha holds custody rights until their daughter reaches 18 years of age.
Bala is permitted to visit the child at the Family Court on second Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Failure to attend at the stipulated time forfeits his visitation rights for that month, and advance notice is required for the subsequent month.
Amritha's legal team highlighted that despite Bala's social media claims of wanting to see his daughter, he hasn't formally reached out to Amritha for visitation. They revealed that Amritha and her mother brought the child to the court on the first designated Saturday post-divorce, but Bala did not attend to meet their daughter.
Regarding financial matters, Amritha received Rs 25 lakhs as compensation, and Bala has legally declared no financial responsibility towards their child's upbringing, education, or marriage. He also affirmed that he had no objections to Amritha being the sole parent. Allegations of a falsified POCSO case against Bala were refuted by Amritha's legal representatives, emphasizing that no such legal action had been initiated against him.
In response to these events, Amritha has granted legal permission for her representatives to pursue legal action should Bala violate the terms of their agreement.
