Bala's Liver Transplant Surgery Successful; Shifted To Postoperative ICU

Actor Bala's liver transplant surgery has been successfully completed. The liver transplant was two days ago. As reports suggest, Doctors confirmed that the surgery was successful. Bala remains healthy. He has been shifted to the postoperative ICU. Bala will remain in the hospital for a month.

Bala was admitted to Amrita Hospital in Ernakulam a month ago due to serious liver disease. At first, he was in a critical condition, but then he quickly returned to normal. The doctors suggested a liver transplant. Many people came forward to donate liver for Bala. From that, a donor was found. The donor also remains in the hospital in good health.

Bala mentioned the surgery in a video shared with his wife Elizabeth the other day on the occasion of his wedding anniversary. "The surgery is in three days. Risky, but hopefully survivable. I think it will go ahead. Only think positively. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me," said Bala then.

The film fraternity and audience are waiting for his comeback. Bala last appeared in 'Shefeekkinte Santhosham' starring Unni Mukundan.

Bala's grandfather owned the Arunachala Studios, hence he was born into a family with strong ties to the movie business. His brother Siva has worked as a director and cinematographer in south Indian films, while his father Jeyakumar has directed over 350 movies and documentaries. Bala made his acting debut in "2 Much," a Telugu movie. His supporting performances in Malayalam films like "Big B," "Puthiya Mukham," "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Pulimurugan," "Lucifer," etc. have earned him a lot of recognition.
