Each contestant on the show has their own unique story to tell. Sagar Surya from Thrissur is one of them who should be mentioned. Sagar is known for his television series 'Tatteem Mutteem' in Mazhavil Manorama. Sagar made his film debut with Kuruthi, which was released in 2021. It should be mentioned that the character of Vishnu played by Sagar in the film was much noticed.

Later, Sagar acted in many films like 'Kuri', 'Kaapa', 'Jo and Jo', 'Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan'. Sagar's mother's untimely death occurs while he is acting in 'Tatteem Mutteem'. It made a big impact on Sagar. Sagar had told Host Mohanlal that when Sagar's 'Tatteem Mutteem' was airing on television, his mother used to switch it and watch Bigg Boss.

Bigg Boss was my mother's favourite show. And my mother used to say that I would watch you when you participated in Bigg Boss. But now that he's reached Bigg Boss, he doesn't have his mother to see it.

Actress Maneesha K S plays Sagar's character's mother in 'Tatteem Mutteem'. Maneesha has also arrived in Bigg Boss this time. Maneesha has said that Sagar called her in the middle of the night after his mother's death. Manisha said that Sagar cried that day, saying that I have no one else to call mother now. Sagar calls Maneesha mother even off camera.

Now the words shared by Sagar's father are going viral. He talks about Sagar's mother's death and her wishes. Sagar's father, Surendran, also known as Surya, said in an interview that his wife was very happy until two hours before her death. Surya says that it was when she was laughing and speaking that she suddenly became weak.

He said that he was glad to see his son on the show. He said that Sagar has struggled a lot to reach this point. "Sagar studied with a purpose in his studies as well. He was unable to reach that goal, and finances became the villain. He got this far through his own efforts. A new beginning in life was made by 'Tatteem Mutteem'. In fact, I was the one who talked him into it. His entry was celebrated like a big event in their locality. Sagar's father, Surendran, also said that he had struggled day and night to reach this point.

There is much happiness, but our lives are painful. Because his mother has been watching Bigg Boss since the first season. She used to stay up all night to watch Bigg Boss. She wanted her son to join Bigg Boss. We are sad that she is not there to see her son get there. He is sadder than me; Sagar had a great relationship with his mother, said Surendran.

"She did not appear to have any particular illness but was on medication for rheumatic disease. We had did checkup advanced hospital. No illness was diagnosed. But later it was known that it was Iota arthritis. It had no symptoms. It was a sudden death. She was doing all the housework by herself and had no signs of illness."

We are the people who lived so happily until two hours before her death. Even when we went to the hospital, we were joyful. When she was admitted to the ICU, she only said that she had pain in her lower abdomen. But she died within 15 minutes of reaching there. She was 48 years old when she died. Sagar got closer to his mother during COVID. Even now, Sagar has not gotten over his mother's demise, says Sagar's father.
