Bigg Boss Malayalam 5: Disrespectful Behavior To Mohanlal: Akhil & Sagar On Brink Of Eviction?

Bigg Boss Malayalam season five witnessed many dramatic scenes last day. For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss so far, when the contestants clashed in front of Mohanlal, it surprised the audience as well.

The conflict broke out due to Akhil Marar's use of foul language. During the conversation, Sagar Surya grabbed Akhil and pushed him. This angered Mohanlal and he ended the show and left. Bigg Boss has punished Sagar and Akhil Marar for this.

When Sagar was about to decide this week's matters by using the captain's authority, Bigg Boss stopped him. Bigg Boss informed that till further notice, Sagar will not have any authority as captain. Sagar asks whether the current captain is Akhil Marar, but Bigg Boss does not reply.

What Bigg Boss Said:

"As the handover of the new captain did not take place yesterday, Sagar will not hold the captaincy until further notice. Unpleasant incidents unfolded here yesterday in front of Mr. Mohanlal, without discipline and respect for the basic rules of the Bigg Boss show. Then he gave you a warning. In this Bigg Boss house, physical attacks of any kind, big or small, will not be tolerated. Akhil and Sagar, who are the main culprits of all these incidents, are directly nominated for next week's elimination as part of the punishment. Now let the audience decide if they want to stay here or not. Please note that last week's nominees were not evicted yesterday, so they have one more week to collect audience votes. Since the captain is away until further notice, put the captain's belt back in the store room."

Why Did Host Mohanlal Leave The Show Midway:

The contestants played a fun game called 'Egg xiting' in the Easter special episode. The enjoyable game, however, did not end well, as Akhil Marar was seen losing his cool during the task. He yelled obscenities at contestants Angeline, Sagar, and Junaiz. Later, the inmates addressed the matter in front of the host, Akhil then apologizes for his behavior.

When host Mohanlal asked Akhil to give Sagar the Captain Band, the latter demanded that he (Akhil) apologize to him. However, Akhil is adamant that he will not do it and throws away the captain band.

Bigg Boss later summoned both contestants to the confession room and discussed the matter with them. During the conversation, Akhil Marar stated that he is not ready to apologize to Sagar; however, Sagar was adamant that Akhil apologises to him. However, Bigg Boss also stated that it was inappropriate for Sagar to escalate the situation in the presence of host Mohanlal.

"I asked you to give Sagar your band, and you threw it away. It struck me as disrespectful. I came here gladly to celebrate Easter with you all. I had so many things planned. Had come from Jaisalmer. It took 4 to 5 hours to get to the airport, then a flight to get here. It turned out to be an upsetting experience for me. So, I'm wrapping up the show here " the host said and raised his voice to the crew to cut the line. Notably, it was the first time the veteran actor was seen taking a difficult step, such as leaving the show midway.
