Reneesha Rahiman is a well-known figure in Kerala's television industry. She portrayed Swathi, the main character, in the Asianet television series Seetha Kalyanam, which ran for three long years. The show was extremely popular with the audience and received high TRPs. After appearing in the daily soap opera, the actress became well-known.

In Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 Reneesha opens up about the loss in business her family faced and the humiliation after that. Reneesha says that money can be made, but her only prayer is for the good health of her father and mother.

"At home Atha, Amma and Annan are there. We are Muslims, And as a Rauthar family we speak Tamil at home. We call our father as Atha. Our Home is at Palakkad. I am a frog in the well. I don't know anything about anything outside the house. No interest to know also. Anna (brother) and I are ten years apart. Therefore, he has authority over me than my mother and father in all my affairs," Reneesha said.

"Family is everything to me. My family was very good before I was born. Life changed after I came. My father did a lot of business and failed. Financially, we struggled. This is the situation I have seen since I was born. When I was sixteen years old. I wasn't aware of many things at that time. Once I acted in a short video and put it on YouTube. I then proudly showed this to all my cousins. Valiachan's (Uncle) daughter came and pushed me and embarrassed me in front of many people. Because my mother had borrowed some gold from them. I still get scared when I see them," she said.

"Despite the loss in the business, My father has not stopped working. He started a pineapple shop in the neighborhood. I felt embarrassed. It was at the time when I was doing TV serials. I was 18 years old then. My father used to shout every time he came home. I was embarrassed. He can sit at home if he wants to, but even at this age he was doing what he could to help the family. I realized this when my Annan told me this."

"Atha proudly says that if he is in this condition, tomorrow his children will be better. Atha and my mother are very old now. That is my fear. We can make money. But can't give them a longer life. If you don't know how to do business, no one should do it. It is the children who suffer," Reneesha adds.
