Hanan Hamid was the first wild-card entry in Bigg Boss Malayalam season five. Hanan was able to create some noise in the Bigg Boss house in the first few days.

The music video for the poem written and composed by Hanan was screened in the Bigg Boss house. Hanan is happy that Mohanlal also saw that music video. "It's an important day for me," Hanan said. Hanan said that she was sad that Mohanlal was not there to welcome her to the Bigg Boss house. All those who come as wild cards are welcomed by the Mohanlal and sent inside the house with his blessings. But for the first time in history, when I went as a wild card, I had to go inside without meeting Mohanlal. But she believes that it is not yet time for her to see Mohanlal.

"Anyway, he heard my poem before meeting me, and that was a very proud moment for me. My desire does not end there." Hanan also stated that she will directly tell Mohanlal that she wants a song written by her to appear in a Mohanlal movie.
