'Tatteem Mutteem' is a popular television series that has won the hearts of Malayalees. The episodes where the characters Arjunettan, Komalavalli, Amma and Kamalasanan, appeared and the laughter they created are still in the hearts of the audience.

Sagar Surya, the young star who shone as Aadi in the series, is now winning the hearts of the audience through Bigg Boss Season 5. Sagar's emotional speech about his mother's demise during the show touched everyone's heart.

Some time ago, Sagar spoke to an online portal about the impact of her mother's unexpected death. Sagar then painfully shared with Online Portal that even days after his mother's demise, he still couldn't accept it. Sagar's heartbroken words are now getting attention again.

"My mother had some problems with rheumatism. She was under treatment for five or six years. One day, she felt like she had gas in her chest. When we consulted a doctor, he said there was nothing wrong. But Mother vomited a lot. When the scan was done, it was found that there was a block in the heart and a leak in the valve. It became serious. And now, my mother is not with us." Sagar said to the online portal

"Mother was my strength. It was the support of my family that got me here. I tried to get a job after my M.Tech., but nothing worked out. That's how I joined Act Lab to study theatre. Through that, I reached 'Tatteem Mutteem' through an audition. Now I have done a movie, 'Upacharapurvam Gunda Jayan'. Saiju Kurup is the hero. But my mother left without waiting to see it," Sagar told in the old interview.

"My family is everything to me. The most important thing was to come home soon after the shoot and stay with my mother. My mother's support was a strength to me. She used to see my performances and give an exact opinion. Now she is not there to give me feedback...'' Sagar's words stuttered.

Sagar, who is known for his television series 'Tatteem Mutteem', made his film debut with Kuruthi, which was released in 2021. It should be mentioned that the character of Vishnu played by Sagar in the film was much noticed.

Later, Sagar acted in many films like 'Kuri', 'Kaapa', 'Jo and Jo', 'Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan'. Sagar's mother's untimely death occurs while he is acting in 'Tatteem Mutteem'. It made a big impact on Sagar. Sagar had told Host Mohanlal that when Sagar's 'Tatteem Mutteem' was airing on television, his mother used to switch it and watch Bigg Boss.

Bigg Boss was my mother's favourite show. And my mother used to say that I would watch you when you participated in Bigg Boss. But now that he's reached Bigg Boss, he doesn't have his mother to see it.

Actress Maneesha K S plays Sagar's character's mother in 'Tatteem Mutteem'. Maneesha has also arrived in Bigg Boss this time. Maneesha has said that Sagar called her in the middle of the night after his mother's death. Manisha said that Sagar cried that day, saying that I have no one else to call mother now. Sagar calls Maneesha mother even off camera.
