Ticket To Finale - Cerena Leads; Akhil Struggles: Cerena Ann Johnson emerges as the winner of the first match in Ticket to Finale, generating excitement among the audience of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5.

Season 5 is now in its twelfth week, with only two weeks remaining to determine the winner. Ticket to Finale consists of a series of tasks, offering contestants who reach the elimination stage in the thirteenth week a direct entry to the final without nominations.

The contestant with the highest point tally at the conclusion of Ticket to Finale secures a direct spot in the finale. Cerena secures victory in the first match, earning 10 points.

Previously, Bigg Boss introduced an endurance task called "Pidivalli" as the inaugural challenge for Ticket to Finale. In this task, all contestants must maintain their grip on a single rope without letting go. The designated area to hold the red rope is marked in black.

Releasing the rope results in elimination from the task. The competition lasts for 24 hours, during which contestants are prohibited from eating, drinking water, using the bathroom, or sleeping. However, they are allowed to stand, walk, sit, and move within the designated area.

The first contestant to release the rope earns only 1 point, while the last remaining contestant receives 10 points. As the task progressed, Akhil Marar became the initial elimination, followed by Reneesha and Vishnu.

The eliminated contestants provoked those still on the task by eating in front of them. Sobha Viswanath displayed great determination in facing the competition. Shiju attempts to provoke her by suggesting she jump into the swimming pool, but Sobha refuses. However, when all the other contestants jump into the pool, Sobha is compelled to join them.

While jumping into the pool, Shiju unintentionally lets go of the rope, resulting in his elimination. Junaiz also accidentally releases the rope and is eliminated. After six hours, only Midhun, Rinosh, Sobha, Nadira, and Cerena remained on the task.

Midhun urged everyone to jump into the pool again and remained on the shore without participating. The female contestants shiver after soaking in the pool late at night.

Eventually, Sobha, Nadira, and Cerena collectively pull the rope from Midhun, eliminating him from the task. Rinosh, Nadira, Sobha, and Cerena persist until 2 a.m., while other contestants, including Akhil, fall asleep after several attempts to provoke them.

After two hours, the contestants reach complete exhaustion. Rinosh releases the rope around 2:30 a.m. Meanwhile, Cerena and Nadira notice that Sobha has let go of the rope, although Sobha denies it. Ultimately, Sobha concedes when Cerena insists.

Nadira and Cerena were the last two contestants remaining. Eventually, Nadira also released the rope, conceding victory to Cerena with ten points. Cerena has the opportunity to directly enter the finals by achieving better scores in subsequent matches. However, she is currently nominated for elimination.

Meanwhile, two contestants are eliminated in the second task while the ticket to finale matches are underway. The task, named "Kuthirapanthayam," requires contestants to continuously swing on a wooden horse. If they stop playing, they are eliminated.

As with any Ticket to Finale task, the first finisher earns 1 point, while the last finisher receives 10 points. Akhil Marar is the first elimination in the second task, as in the first task. Shiju is the second contestant to be ousted from the game. Thus, Akhil accumulates one point, while Shiju garners two points.

Since Akhil was also the first to be eliminated in the previous day's task, he managed to score only two points from the two Ticket to Finale tasks. Shiju, on the other hand, earned four points in yesterday's task, resulting in a total of six points after two tasks.

Health Challenges Overshadow Ticket To Finale

However, illness poses a significant challenge for several prominent contestants as they navigate through the Ticket to Finale games. Akhil Marar, despite following the doctor's advice and adhering to food restrictions, continues to stay in the house, showing remarkable resilience.

Adding to the drama, Vishnu, another notable contestant, disclosed his illness to Bigg Boss today. After a thorough examination by the doctor, Bigg Boss suggested hospitalisation for further treatment. However, Vishnu made a bold decision, refusing to go to the hospital as it would mean missing out on the first day of the ticket to finale.

The nominated contestants for this week include Nadira, Junaiz, Reneesha, Shiju, Vishnu, Akhil, and Cerena. Except for Rinosh, Midhun, and Sobha, all other contestants have made it to the nomination list for this week.
