Recently, in the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season-5, contestant Akhil Marar's abusive remarks against Madhu sparked controversy. Now it is known that the matter is being taken seriously by Bigg Boss.

In the latest promo video, the host of the show Mohanlal announces that Akhil Marar's remarks mocking Madhu by mentioning his name was extremely regrettable and should not have happened. Mohanlal also says that Bigg Boss Malayalam will take further action in this matter.

Akhil's controversial remark happened during a weekly task, where every contestant had to enact the popular characters portrayed by Malayalam's favorite film stars. Actor Sagar Surya was playing the role of 'Meesamadhavan' in the task. During this Task, Akhil Marar made controversial remarks about Madhu.

He asks Sagar Surya: "Who told you to steal rice? Are you Madhu? Do steal the rest of the things. If you steal food, you will end up like Madhu," Akhil said insensitively. Some contestants can be seen laughing.

After the video went viral, protests against Akhil are getting stronger on social media. Many people have come against Akhil Marar. Many people are of the opinion that through this remark Akhil Marar's real color is out.

In the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season-5, the results of the official elimination round are also pending. Last week the season's first official nomination procedure took place on Bigg Boss Malayalam 5. Seven participants from the lot will be facing elimination.

Following the nomination, Bigg Boss revealed that seven candidates will be facing elimination. Gopika, Lachu, Rinosh, Reneesha, Vishnu, Angeline, and Midhun were declared to be in the danger zone. Interestingly, Gopika received the most votes against her.

Last week, the participants were instructed to choose two of their inmates for elimination. Significantly, the contestants were required to select the inmates who had previously been nominated the previous week. Akhil Marar got rid of the Initial nine nominees as he became the captain.

Sobha chose Vishnu and Gopika to serve as the nominees. She suggested Vishnu's name because he addressed her disrespectfully and called her "Thalla". Sobha said that Gopika was trying to escalate the problems present in the house and is diverting topics.

Vishnu Joshi nominated Reneesha saying that she was not playing the games fairly. Secondly, he nominated Gopika and said that she is trying to gain sympathy.

On the other hand, Gopika chose the names of Reneesha and Aniyan Midhun, claiming that they are hurting her personally in several ways. Interestingly, Reneesha chose Gopika's name as well, claiming that she doesn't like her personally.

In the nomination process, Devu nominated Gopika and accused that she diverts from the content and speaking confusingly. Secondly, she nominated Midhun and claimed that although Midhun is active in physical games, he does not share his opinions on important matters.

Angeline was nominated by Reneesha, saying that she is emotionally fragile. Reneesha was nominated by Junaiz, who said that she was acting too diplomatically inside the house. Junaiz secondly nominated Vishnu accusing he doesn't have an opinion of his own.
