Vishnu Reveals His Bond With Akhil Marar: Vishnu Joshi, one of the best contestants in Bigg Boss Malayalam season 5, faced an unexpected elimination in the weekend episode, leaving the audience and fellow contestants in shock. Known for his game-changing moments throughout the season, Vishnu was considered a strong contender, and the audience believed he would reach the top five.

Vishnu's success within the house heavily relied on the friendships he formed. He was paired with Akhil Marar and Shiju, and their game planning and strategies captured the audience's attention. Although Vishnu and Akhil Marar were ideologically different, they formed a strong bond, earning the nickname "Annan-Thambi combo." Vishnu recently opened up about their unlikely friendship in an interview with Filmibeat Malayalam.

Vishnu And Akhil Marar's Friendship Defies Ideological Differences

"We are ideologically two polar opposites. He has a different way of thinking, and I have a different way of thinking. We come from different generations. But what brings us closer is our love for movies and jokes. I enjoy movies and jokes immensely, and that is the main reason behind our bond. I am always the one who wants to laugh and have fun," Vishnu explained.

He further shared, "Jokes played a vital role in bringing us closer together. Sometimes the jokes I cracked turned into sarcasm, and not everyone could understand them. But Akhil and Shiju understood, and eventually others caught on. Both of them have shared a lot of information about movies with me."

Vishnu clarified that their friendship did not manifest as intentional groupism in all the tasks. "Sometimes we were on the same team, and sometimes we were on different teams during the tasks. We didn't bring our friendship into every game, nor did we discuss nominations with each other," he said.

He emphasised that their relationship was purely based on friendship, with no hidden agendas. "There is only friendship. They don't come and ask me about everything because I am the kind of person who makes decisions independently. If they have something to say, they ask me formally."

Vishnu asserted that he had his own ideology and occasionally incorporated it into his game plan. However, he never intended to harm or eliminate anyone. "There was never any talk of causing harm or expelling anyone," he affirmed.

Despite the conflicts and disagreements they faced, Vishnu emphasised that they remained friendly until the end. "We had a falling out due to ideological differences, but eventually, everything changed. It was a miscommunication. When I realised it was hurtful to him, I went to talk and clear the air. After that, we continued playing together until the day I came out," Vishnu concluded.
