Mohanlal's 'L2: Empuraan' First Look Loading: Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial debut, 'Lucifer,' achieved remarkable success as one of Mohanlal's highest-grossing films. The much-anticipated sequel, 'L2: Empuraan,' was officially announced in August last year.

In May, Aashirvad Cinemas released a video featuring Prithviraj and Antony Perumbavoor exploring potential filming locations in London for their upcoming high-budget film. The production was scheduled to begin in August. However, Prithviraj sustained an injury while filming 'Vilayath Buddha,' leading to a two-month break. After his recovery, there were reports that filming for 'L2: Empuraan' would resume in September. However, the first schedule did not commence as planned. "L2: Empuraan" then officially went into production on October 5.
