Entertainment South Highlights: Veteran Actor Sarath Babu Passes Away At 71 In Hyderabad

Actor Sarath Babu, known for his work predominantly in Tamil and Telugu cinema, has passed away. Sarath Babu is known for his roles in the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Annamalai' and 'Muthu' in Tamil. The actor was admitted in hospital earlier this month and was undergoing treatment.

Actor-filmmaker Vijay Antony confirms the third installment of Pichaikkaran/Bichagadu. Directed by Vijay Antony, who also plays the lead role, "Pichaikkaran/Bichagadu 2" is the sequel to the 2016 film that was directed by Sasi. Now that the sequel has been a success, Vijay Antony has made a big announcement and confirmed the third installment of the franchise. In a recent media interaction, while promoting the latest movie in Chennai, Vijay Antony confirmed that "Pichaikkaran 3" or "Bichagadu 3" is definitely on the cards and that the film will be going on floors in 2025.

Actor Arulnithi's upcoming film 'Kazhuvethi Moorkkan' directed by Sy Gowthamraj, has been cleared by the Film Certification Board with an U/A certificate. The film will release on May 26, 2023. The rural drama has music by D Imman, and Dushara of 'Sarpatta Parambarai' fame plays the female lead.
