In December 2019, the lead role in the film was initially set for Antony Varghese, produced by Jude Anthany Joseph and Aravind Kurup. Subsequently, Antony Varghese exited the project, leading to Basil Joseph stepping in as the new lead. Cheers Entertainment replaced the production studio. 'Falimy' becomes Basil Joseph's third collaboration with Cheers Entertainments, following 'Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey' (2022) and 'Jan. E. Man' (2021). Principal photography commenced on November 5, 2022, concluding on May 6, 2023.
Vishnu Vijay composed the music for the film, which debuted its first single, "Manjeera Shinjitham," written by Muhsin Parari. Sung by Vishnu Vijay and Anthony Daasan, the single was released on October 21, 2023.
