Garudan OTT Streaming Platform: Garudan, a legal thriller in Malayalam, marks the directorial debut of Arun Varma. The screenplay is written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, with production overseen by Listin Stephen.

Leading the cast are Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, supported by a talented ensemble including Jagadish, Siddique, Thalaivasal Vijay, Dileesh Pothan, Abhirami, Divya Pillai, Arjun Nandhakumar, Nishanth Sagar, Major Ravi, and Jayan Cherthala.

The film was officially announced in April 2023, and principal photography took place from May to August 2023 in Kochi. Jakes Bejoy composed the music, while Ajay David Kachappilly and Sreejith Sarang handled the cinematography and editing, respectively. 'Garudan' made its theatrical debut on November 3, 2023.

Garudan's Expected Digital Streaming Platform

According to the latest reports, it is known that the digital streaming partner for "Garudan" is Amazon Prime. In the Malayalam film industry, there is typically a 42-day window between the theatrical and OTT releases of movies. Therefore, Malayalam films will be available on OTT platforms only after 42 days of their theatrical release. So, hopefully, "Garudan" will have a release date on the said digital platform in accordance with this schedule.

Garudan signifies the long-awaited reunion of Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon, who last shared the screen in the 2011 movie 'Christian Brothers.' This production, helmed by Listin Stephen of Magic Frames, features a screenplay by Midhun Manuel Thomas, known for his work on 'Anjaam Pathiraa' in 2020, with the story penned by Jinesh M. The project was formally unveiled on April 15, 2023, coinciding with the Vishu celebration.
