In an exclusive interview with Kaumudi Movies, Honey Rose addressed the Mohanlal controversy. When asked about the alleged statement by host Akhil Marar, Honey Rose opened up about the situation and clarified her stance.
"When any statement originates from my end, it bears purpose and authenticity," Honey Rose emphasised. "However, if statements we never made start circulating, they lack genuine intent. The intention behind such a display becomes evident merely by examining the accompanying visuals. The headline suggested that I claimed Mohanlal's supportive presence in my life for years." Honey Rose clarifies that it is not true.
Standing Up Against Misinformation
Honey Rose expressed her concerns about the misinformation spreading. "No such statement came from my side. When it resurfaced on numerous platforms, it's understandable that many would believe me when I said it. If I want to prove it false, an official complaint might be necessary. It left me distressed," she shared, adding that many people sent her links to the news. She also revealed that she reached out to Mohanlal himself.
"I didn't want him to misunderstand the situation, so I sent him a screenshot. His response was to let it go. They encounter false news regularly and have learned to overlook it. Mohanlal advised me to do the same," Honey Rose explained.
Promising Roles and a Positive Outlook
Despite facing negativity online, Honey Rose remains optimistic. "Whenever I post a photo, negative comments are sure to follow. This doesn't reflect society as a whole, but just a few individuals. There are also those who use social media to spread positivity and generate good energy," she acknowledged.
