Malavika's revelation was on Twentyfour's Happy to Meet You interview program. Malavika says that She was asked to do compromises by offering Manju Warrier's daughter's role in a film.

I ran away crying that day, Malvika said in the interview, she also said that she has faced many similar experiences. Malavika Sreenath is an actress who gained attention with the movies Maduram and Saturday Night.

"Half an hour after the audition, my hair was messy, He told me to go to the dressing room and fix it, and as soon as I went to the dressing room, he came after me and grabbed me from behind. No matter how much I tried, he would not go," she said.

Malavika said:

Casting couch is a reality. I am a victim of it. I have not spoken openly about this anywhere else. Now I have a space and a role in the industry. So I dare say. I was called a long time ago, three years ago. Now I know that they were not related to that film.

I was told that it was for a Manju Warrier movie and I was to act as Manju's daughter. Anyone will fall for it. Whoever it is, one will go just to get a chance to meet Manju Warrier. I didn't have contact in the movie and don't know if it's genuine. But I said I will come for the audition. They send an Innova car to my home.

I was accompanied by my mother and sister. The audition was somewhere in Thrissur. It was a room made out of glass. After the audition, he said my hair is a bit messy, and asked me to go to the dressing room and fix it. As I was doing that, he suddenly came and grabbed me from behind. He was a tall big man.
