Jude Anthany Reveals About The OTT Release Of '2018': According to a report published by Dool News, Director Jude Anthony Joseph said that the controversies surrounding him are closed chapters and that he thinks that it's all for good.

The report says that Jude also said that Sony Liv has secured the rights for the OTT release of his latest movie, ' 2018: Everyone is a Hero', and that the release will happen on the date they planned.

"Controversies are closed chapters. Just think it's all for good. The pan-India release of the movie will happen soon. The certification for other languages has not been done. Soon after getting it, we will release the film. The version that is released now is the extended version. Only three scenes were cut and discarded. One was my scene. All three scenes were very short in length," said Jude Anthany Joseph, according to the report.

"This is the director's cut, the producer's cut, and my cut too. The OTT release has been confirmed with Sony Liv. They bought the picture. They have planned the release. It will be released on the same day as planned. Nivin Pauly's scene was not shot. It was only in the script," he said.

Jude's Controversial Statement Against Pepe

Recently, Jude's statement against Antony Varghese (Pepe) led to great controversy. Judd's controversial statement was made in an interview given to an online media outlet called Movieworld Media. Jude alleged that Antony backed out 18 days before the shoot after taking money from the producer. Not only that, Jude also accused Antony Varghese of arranging his sister's marriage with advance money from the producer.

But the very next day, Pepe came forward with an explanation of the incident. Pepe gave the explanation at a press conference in Kochi. After Pepe explained with evidence that the money was given back and his sister's marriage took place a year after the money was returned, there was a lot of criticism against Jude from various quarters. The criticism was that Jude used the success of his movie '2018' to tarnish the image of others.
