The sensational success of the Malayalam blockbuster "Kannur Squad" continues to make waves in the UAE-GCC box office, marking a remarkable 25-day run. In the UAE, the film garnered an impressive 179,104 admissions, resulting in a staggering gross of AED 7.204 million (equivalent to $1.961 million or ₹16.29 crore). Not to be outdone, the rest of the GCC region witnessed a substantial 143,025 admissions, contributing to a significant gross of $1.274 million (about ₹10.58 crore).

The combined figures for the entire GCC stand at an astounding 322,129 admissions and a total gross of US$3.235 million, equivalent to ₹26.87 crore. With its phenomenal performance, "Kannur Squad" has undeniably earned the status of a super blockbuster, solidifying its place in the annals of Malayalam cinema's box office achievements.

'Kannur Squad' is directed by Roby Varghese Raj, making his directorial debut. The screenplay is co-written by Muhammed Shafi and Rony David Raj. The film stars Mammootty in the lead role as ASI George Martin, alongside Vijayaraghavan, Rony David Raj, Kishore Kumar G, Shabareesh Varma, and Sunny Wayne.

The cast also includes Azees Nedumangad, Sajin Cherukayil, Deepak Parambol, Gibin Gopinath, and Sarath Sabha.
