King Of Kotha Global Box Office Update: Dulquer Salmaan's much-awaited movie 'King of Kotha' (KoK) premiered globally on August 24, spanning various languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

The movie "King of Kotha" was released on nearly 2,500 screens worldwide and gained significant success in pre-sale ticket bookings, as acknowledged by industry experts.

The film's creators have put forth extensive efforts to set a new benchmark for their promotional and marketing strategies. Although initially anticipated to break records in the Malayalam film industry, the movie's trajectory has unfolded differently in terms of its performance.

After its premiere, the film garnered a blend of reviews. Recent reports suggest that Dulquer Salmaan's "King of Kotha" is lagging behind 'RDX' in terms of its daily box office collection.

Directed by Abhilash Joshiy, this period gangster film showcases a talented ensemble cast including Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Shammi Thilakan. The Dulquer Salmaan-starrer showcased its star power across various regions, with Kerala leading the way at ₹13.6 crore, followed closely by AP/TS (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with ₹2.85 crore. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka also made significant contributions to its impressive figures, earning ₹2.55 crore and ₹1.2 crore, respectively.

Even in the North, where its presence was less pronounced, "King Of Kotha" managed to collect ₹25 lakhs. This box office performance in India resulted in a domestic total of ₹20.45 crore. Beyond its home turf, the film's overseas collection is equally commendable, accumulating ₹14.65 crore (approximately $1.77 million) and solidifying its status as a moderately successful movie.
