Malayalam Director Baiju Paravur Passes Away: Baiju Paravur, a 42-year-old director and production executive, has sadly passed away.

His untimely demise occurred while he was in the midst of preparations for the release of his debut film, Secret, which he had written and directed entirely on his own. Baiju was born to the Sasi-Sumathi couple of Nanthikulangara Koipamadathil.

Having initially started his career in the film industry as a production executive, Baiju dedicated 20 years of his life to working in the field. Throughout his career, he contributed to the production of 45 films, taking on the role of production controller for notable works such as Dhanyam, Maithili, and Kaitholachathan.

Family Suspects Food Poisoning As The Cause Of Death

According to relatives and friends, Baiju's sudden demise was the result of food poisoning. He had consumed a meal at a hotel during his return from Kozhikode, where he had been engaged in discussions related to a film project. Subsequently, he began experiencing discomfort. Upon reaching Kunnamkulam, he visited his wife's house and sought medical advice from a nearby doctor before returning home to Paravur on Sunday.

Unfortunately, Baiju's health continued to deteriorate, leading to his admission to Kuzhupilli and later to a private hospital in Kochi. Tragically, he passed away on Monday morning. The necessary funeral rituals were conducted to honour his memory. Baiju is survived by his wife, Chitra, and their children, Aaradhya and Aarav.
