Mammootty's Sister Amina Passes Away

Mammootty's Sister Passed Away: Amina (Naseema-70), the sister of actor Mammootty and the widow of the late P M Saleem from Kanjirappally Parakkal, passed away. She had been under treatment for a while.

She leaves behind her children: Jibin Salim (residing in Brunei), Julie, and Juby, along with her daughter-in-law, Jinsa, and her sons-in-law, Babu (from Eranakulam) and Muneer (from Kakkanad).

Apart from Mammootty, Ibrahimkutty, Zakariah Panaparambil, Sauda, and Shafeena are siblings. Her final rites are reportedly scheduled for wednesday(Sep 13).
Numerous celebrities have expressed their condolences following Amina's passing.

Mammootty, the renowned megastar, along with his siblings, was raised in Chempu, near Vaikom, in Kottayam district. Amina was Mammootty's younger sister, and their father, Ismail, was engaged in both a wholesale garment and rice business as well as rice cultivation. His mother, Fatima, was a dedicated housewife.

The year 2023 has brought both joy and sorrow to Mammootty and his family. In April, the Megastar's mother, Fatima Ismail, peacefully passed away at the age of 93 after receiving treatment for age-related ailments at a private hospital.

Amidst this challenging time, Mammootty found solace and support in celebrating his 72nd birthday on Thursday, September 7, surrounded by the warmth and love of his fans and well-wishers from around the world. Following the celebration, Mammootty expressed his gratitude with a heartfelt note: "Many thanks to everyone who made my birthday feel so special. Thank you for the messages, calls, cards, performances, videos, and to those who came to my home in person. Each year, your love grows, and I am humbled in every way.
