Manjusha Was Called 'Skinny' On 'Santhvanam' Set; Actress Shares Experience Of Being Victim Of Body Shaming

The stars of the series also have many fans. Manjusha Martin is the actress who has become a favourite among family audiences through Santhvanam. The actor plays the role of Achu in 'Santhvanam'. Manjusha Martin is a person who gained attention through social media before reaching 'Santhvanam'.

Manjusha, who gained attention through viral videos on Tik Tok, later grabbed attention through Instagram releases and YouTube. It was later that she came to 'Santhvanam'. Manjusha is active in vlogs and other activities while acting in serials. Now, Manjusha has spoken about her entry into the serial in an interview given to Manorama Online. Manjusha talks about how she decided not to act after seeing the reactions of others to her slim body.

While studying in college, Manjusha started making Tik Tok videos with the inspiration of her friends. Manjusha made her first video, without much experience, but the video reached a million views. Later, when Tik Tok was banned, Manjusha joined Instagram and YouTube. Manjusha started by creating her own content, shooting, and editing herself.

With the help of family and friends, she slowly started making videos in a better way. Meanwhile, her YouTube videos got noticed, and she started getting opportunities from TV serials. But Manjusha said that she rejected the opportunities because of fear. That was the time when Manjusha acted in a musical album called Doore Doore.

After that, the call from Santhvanam Serial came. Manjusha decided not to waste the opportunity but to go ahead with it. Manjusha says that she, who is generally tense, got scared when she saw the big camera and crew. "I reached the location on the first day with fear. I thought that I wouldn't be able to manage it, but somehow I became the character Achu, and my fear stopped." Manjusha said.

My body shape is a problem for many people. Not like you've seen in any video, I'm really a skinny person. My body type is also the reason I didn't go to serials in the first place. When I first arrived at the "Santhvanam' location, some of the people there were not very impressed when they saw me. Some people frowned because I was so thin. It felt terrible to me.

Manjusha remembers that she left there thinking that she would never act again. But at night, the director called and said, "Physical appearance is not a problem; talent is what we need most." I started acting again, as he told me not to worry about anything else. Manjusha said that now that everyone is used to her physical appearance, no one has any problems there.
