Suchithra Shares Her Experiences Working On Malaikottai Vaaliban: Former Malayalam Bigg Boss Season 4 contestant, actress Suchithra, known for her popularity in Asianet's serials, has now landed a significant role in the highly anticipated film 'Malaikottai Vaaliban,' directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and starring the legendary Mohanlal.

In an exclusive interview with Behind Woods, Suchithra shared her experiences working on the film, expressing her happiness at collaborating with the stalwarts of Malayalam cinema.

She recounted a memorable moment when Mohanlal inquired about her Bigg Boss journey on the sets of 'Malaikottai Vaaliban.' "Do you now understand what Bigg Boss is?" Mohanlal playfully asked, to which she humorously replied, "I still don't understand." Their exchange resulted in laughter and camaraderie between the two talented actors.

Suchithra believes that her stint on Bigg Boss played a pivotal role in landing her this opportunity, though she remains unsure of the exact connection. She revealed that people close to Lijo Jose Pellissery had mentioned his interest in watching the reality show. This connection may have played a part in her casting for the film.

Recounting her interactions with Mohanlal, Suchithra mentioned that the shooting conditions, including inclement weather, wrestling scenes, and dust storms, led to Mohanlal developing a chest infection. This forced a three-day break in the shoot. However, to everyone's surprise, when the shooting resumed, Mohanlal arrived on set wrapped in a blanket but transformed into a spirited and energetic character once the camera rolled. Suchithra marvelled at the sudden transformation, questioning whether this was the same person who had been ill just days before.

While acknowledging that her screen time in the film will be relatively short, approximately ten to fifteen minutes, Suchithra emphasised the significance of her role and the overall impact of the movie. "Even someone who just comes and goes in the scene has some significance in this movie," she said, highlighting the importance of every character's contribution. She added that 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' is the film that everyone has been eagerly awaiting.
