National Film Awards 2023 Malayalam Winners Complete List

69th National Film Awards-Honoring Excellence in Indian Cinema: The National Film Awards was declared in New Delhi during a press meet on Thursday.
This prestigious award, organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India, is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the finest achievements in Indian cinema. The 69th National Film Awards for the year 2021 were originally scheduled for May 3, 2022; however, the awards ceremony faced delays due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regarded as India's premier film award ceremony, the National Film Awards has been a cornerstone of the nation's cinematic landscape since its inception in 1954. The Directorate of Film Festivals, a division of the Indian government, has overseen the awards alongside the International Film Festival of India and the Indian Panorama since 1973.
Each year, a national panel appointed by the government meticulously selects the winners. The grand award ceremony takes place in the capital city of New Delhi, where the President of India personally presents the honors. This is then followed by the launch of the National Film Festival, featuring screenings of the award-winning films for the public to enjoy.
These awards not only acknowledge excellence in Indian cinema on a national scale but also commend outstanding regional contributions. The awards encompass various categories, acknowledging the best films in each linguistic and regional facet of the country.
The National Film Awards span two primary categories: Feature Films and Non-Feature Films. Expert juries, appointed by the Directorate of Film Festivals in India, are tasked with assessing and determining the winners in these categories.
