Omar Lulu Opens Up About His Bad Experience With Soubin: Director Omar Lulu was a contestant who had a negative image when he came to Bigg Boss Malayalam season five. But later, he won many fans. Omar Lulu had a lot of haters before entering the house due to his social media interactions and the movies he has made.

On social media, Omar is the person who reacts to all controversial topics. But when he reached the house, the audience realised that Omar was not that regressive in nature but a calm person.

Audiences say that Omar was a very genuine contestant. Omar Lulu stayed in the Bigg Boss house for two weeks. Omar Lulu was the second wild card entry in the house. After coming out of the house, Omar Lulu said that he felt a lack of freedom since he came to the house and wanted to get out somehow.

Recently, one of the most discussed issues in Malayalam cinema has been the use of drugs by young actors and the disruption in film shooting due to it. Actors like Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi have been banned by organisations. Meanwhile, Omar Lulu shared some of his experiences on this issue in an interview given to FilmiBeat Malayalam.

Bad Experience With Soubin Shahir

Omar Lulu said that he had a bad experience with actor Soubin Shahir. Omar Lulu said that Soubin did not pick up the phone when called for dubbing. Soubin Shahir has played an important role in one of Omar Lulu's biggest hits, Happy Wedding. Soub's character in it has fans even today.

"Using intoxicants can cause problems on film sets. Stalling the shoot is the wrong tendency. Such acts by some actors are very inappropriate. Senior actors like Urvashi, Mukesh, Idavela Babu, and others have acted in my film. Their communication with me was very professional." Omar said.

"They are perfect in terms of coming to the shooting set on time. But some young actors do not pick up their phones when they are called. They won't answer the phone if they are called for dubbing. Once, when I phoned Soubin for dubbing, he did not pick up my call. The shooting of the movie Popcorn took place during that time. Shine Tom asked me about this and said that Soubin didn't come for the dubbing of Popcorn as well."

"I don't know if Shine would confirm it now if I asked. But I have experience. It's good to have investigations by shadow police on shooting sets. Political parties also supply alcohol during elections. I have worked for the Muslim League. They will not serve alcohol. Other parties do distribute."

'I have tried alcohol at the age of 35. That too during the lockdown. But when lockdown was over, I quit drinking." Omar Lulu said

Omar Lulu has made a total of five films so far. 'Nalla Samayam' was the last one. The Excise Department filed a case against the film, stating that it encourages drug abuse. After this, the film was withdrawn from the theatre. Later, the case was dropped after the court's intervention.
