Prashanth Alexander, who started his career as a television host, entered the big screen as an actor in the film 'Nammal'. He thereafter appeared in other movies in supporting roles.

When Prashanth began playing negative characters, he began to have more opportunities. After twenty years of waiting, Prashanth has finally played a main role in a movie after discovering his niche in Malayalam cinema.

Prashanth made his debut as a lead character in the movie 'Purusha Pretham' directed by Krishand. The movie which has been released in OTT is getting appreciation and Prashanth's performance in it is also getting accolades. In a recent interview with Red FM for the film's promotion, Prashanth talked about his career, marriage, and occasional quarrels with his wife.

"Ours is a love marriage. We did a television show called 'Valkannadi' together. Our romantic relationship that started in those days resulted in marriage. What more can be said about the same? Everyone will think that people with similar Characters gel very easily. But I can say from my experience that it is a very difficult thing," in the interview, Prashanth said.

"Sheeba, my wife has a very good sense of humor. I believe I have too. I have my own stubbornness and Sheeba has her's too. All in all, both are of the same Character. It is very difficult to go along with it. I have often felt that opposites are easier to get along with," Prashanth said.

"When Sheeba tells a joke, I try to tell a joke better than that. Sheba will then cracks another joke far better than that. In the end, it will result in a fight. If two individuals have opposite personalities and one of them tells a joke, the other one will just enjoy it. Anyway, I can say all this openly because Sheeba can understand it. And now we, our children and my mother live happily at home," Prashanth added.
