Prithviraj
Sukumaran,

acclaimed
actor

sustained

leg
injury
during
filming,
has
undergone
successful
surgery,
according
to
Film
Trade
Analyst

George.
The
surgery
was
performed
at
a
private
hospital
in
Kochi,
where
keyhole
surgery
was
carried
out
on
his
leg
ligaments.
Prithviraj,
who
was
injured
while
shooting
a
fight
scene
for
the
film
"Vilayath
Buddha" in
Marayur,
was
admitted
to
the
hospital
and
is
expected
to
be
discharged
within
the
next
two
days.
In
light
of
the
surgery,
Prithviraj
has
been
advised
to
take
a
rest
period
of
one
to
two
months
for
a
full
recovery.
As
a
result,
there
will
be
adjustments
to
the
current
plans
for
his
upcoming
movies,
including
"Vilayath
Buddha,"
"Guruvayoor
Ambala
Nadayil," and
"Empuraan."
However,
the
filming
of
"Salaar"
will
remain
unaffected
as
Prithviraj
has
already
completed
his
portions
for
the
film,
