Remembering Kailas Nath: The world of entertainment mourns the loss of a talented artist as film and television actor Kailas Nath, aged 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 23. He departed at a private hospital in Kochi, where he had been receiving treatment for liver disease.

Kailas Nath's legacy in the realm of acting extends across both film and television. Recognisable to audiences primarily through his television serials, he recently left an indelible mark as Pillachettan in the beloved serial "Santhwanam." His career in acting remained vibrant until his health took a downturn. His hiatus from the limelight was prompted by the onset of his illness, which left him physically weakened.

Hailing from Mannar, Kerala, Kailas Nath's educational journey led him through the halls of Government High School and Devasam Board Pamba College. During his formative years, he cultivated his talents in mimicry and stage performances, forming a partnership with fellow artist Allapey Ashraf.

Seeking to refine his craft, Kailas Nath embarked on an acting course at the Madras South Indian Film Chamber. This path brought him into the company of future luminaries such as Nazer, Shankar, Chiranjeevi, and Sreenath.
