Sagar Surya's Father Opens Up:'Tatteem Mutteem' is a popular television series that has won the hearts of Malayalees. The episodes where the characters Arjunettan, Komalavalli, Amma, and Kamalasanan appeared and the laughter they created are still in the hearts of the audience.

Sagar Surya, the young star who shone as Aadi in the series, is now winning the hearts of the audience through Bigg Boss Season 5. Sagar's emotional speech about his mother's untimely demise during the show touched everyone's heart.

Now, Sagar's father says that after the death of his mother, it is from Maneesha that Sagar gets motherly care. He was speaking in an interview given to Filmibeat Malayalam. "I was happy when I came to know that Maneesha was also on Bigg Boss," he said.

"Before going to Bigg Boss House, Sagar said that in the show he would address Maneesha as 'Amma'. He said that he couldn't do otherwise. I told him to call the way he wished. I said he should not worry about what people will think about it. But it felt bad when they fought," Sagar Surya's father, Surendran, said. Surendran also said that he then tried to think that it was just a game.

COVID Lockdown And Family Bonding

Sagar was not able to accept the death of his mother immediately. It was COVID time. Everyone was at home at that time. It was like a festival for us. But suddenly she passed away.

"During the COVID lockdown period, an intense attachment happened between my wife and the children." Surendran said that Sagar and his brother were enjoying those periods to the fullest when suddenly the death happened. His father adds that Sagar's mother was an avid fan of Bigg Boss and used to ask Sagar to participate on the show.

Sagar, who is known for his television series 'Tatteem Mutteem', made his film debut with Kuruthi, which was released in 2021. It should be mentioned that the character of Vishnu, played by Sagar in the film, was much admired.

Later, Sagar acted in many films like 'Kuri', 'Kaapa', 'Jo and Jo', and 'Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan'. Sagar's mother's untimely death occurs while he is acting in 'Tatteem Mutteem'.
