The movie was announced in December 2020, followed by the commencement of principal photography in January 2021 around Godavarikhani, Telangana. Ravi Basrur was responsible for the music composition, and Bhuvan Gowda handled the cinematography.

Salaar is set to hit theatres on December 22, promising a cinematic experience like none other. Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is set to hit screens in both standard and IMAX formats, debuting in Telugu alongside dubbed versions in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
