Valatty OTT Release Date: "Valatty: A Story of Tails" is an adventure-comedy romance film in Malayalam, scripted and helmed by Devan Jayakumar, with production overseen by Vijay Babu from Friday Film House.

The film features the voices of Roshan Mathew, Raveena Ravi, Soubin Shahir, Sunny Wayne, Saiju Kurup, and Aju Varghese. As per the creators, Valatty proudly stands as the first Indian film to feature live dogs as actors, foregoing the use of visual effects (VFX).

Valatty Synopsis

Tomy, a golden retriever under the care of Roy, develops a deep affection for Amalu, a cocker spaniel belonging to a Brahmin family living next door. However, their connection faces obstacles when the Brahmin family discovers that Tomy was responsible for Amalu's pregnancy. Subsequently, both Tomy and Amalu find themselves confined within their respective homes. The narrative takes a twist when Tomy and Amalu make the bold decision to run away together.

The audience had been eagerly awaiting the OTT release of the movie 'Valatty.' Now, the release details are official: 'Valatty' had its theatrical premiere on July 21 and is scheduled to begin streaming on November 7. Disney Plus Hotstar holds the digital rights and has also revealed a trailer. Notably, the film will be available for streaming in five languages. This marks the movie's transition to the OTT platform, occurring four months after its theatrical debut.

Valatty Cast And Crew

The cast of "Valatty" features a remarkable ensemble of both human and canine actors. In the world of canines, Roshan Mathew lends his voice to Tomy, a Golden Retriever, while Raveena Ravi voices Amalu, a Cocker Spaniel. Soubin Shahir lends his voice to Karidas/Haridas, an Indie dog, and Sunny Wayne provides the voice for Bruno, a Rottweiler. Saiju Kurup gives voice to the neighbour dog, a Dobermann, and Aju Varghese voices the unique character of Poovan, a rooster. Indrans, with his distinctive voice, breathes life into the old dog, a Labrador, and Ranjini Haridas voices Margaret, an Afghan Hound. Surabhi Lakshmi lends her voice to the mother dog, a Podenco Canario, and Naslen K. Gafoor provides the voice for Tippu, a Stafford.

The human cast of "Valatty" features a diverse group of talented individuals. Rohini plays Sumathi, a street food vendor, while Vijay Babu takes on the role of Roy, the owner of Tomy. Srikant Murali portrays Swamy, the head of the Brahmin family, and Mahima Nambiar plays Saraswati, Swamy's daughter. Dev Mohan is cast as Anand, Saraswati's fiancé. Additionally, Major Ravi makes a cameo appearance, Akshay Radhakrishnan takes on the role of Bhasi, and Sanju Sanichen plays Bhasi's boss. Raghu Subhash is cast as Shafi, and Suresh Babu Naidu portrays Narendra Das Karnavar.
