Violinist Balabhaskar's Death: High Court Orders Probe Into Possible Conspiracy

Violinist Balabhaskars Death: High Court Orders Probe

Violinist Balabhaskar's Death: The Kerala High Court has issued an order for a comprehensive re-examination of the late violinist Balabhaskar's demise, with specific emphasis on uncovering any potential conspiracies linked to his death.

This directive stems from a petition filed by Balabhaskar's father, and the Court has instructed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conclude the reinvestigation within three months.

CBI Rejects Conspiracy Allegations in Balabhaskar's Death

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially rejected allegations of a conspiracy surrounding the tragic death of violinist Balabhaskar. Following an investigation, the CBI categorically dismissed the notion of foul play and apprised the High Court of its findings.

Their inquiry led them to conclude that the accident's primary cause lay in the driver's negligence. Specifically, Arjun Narayanan, the vehicle's driver, was found to be speeding at the time of the accident, ultimately resulting in Balabhaskar's untimely demise.

Tragedy struck on September 25, 2019, when Balabhaskar and his daughter lost their lives in a fatal road accident near Pallippuram, not far from Thiruvananthapuram, during their journey from Thrissur to Thiruvananthapuram.

However, Balabhaskar's parents vehemently contended that the incident was a premeditated murder orchestrated by a group that included individuals like Prakash Thambi and Vishnu Somasundaram. Notably, these individuals were embroiled in the gold smuggling case and counted among Balabhaskar's acquaintances. Moreover, a contentious dispute arose regarding the identity of the person behind the wheel at the time of the fatal accident.

Initially, the case was handled by the crime branch, which concluded that Balabhaskar's death was a result of a tragic accident. However, this determination faced opposition from KC Unni, leading to a formal request for a CBI investigation. Responding to this request, the government entrusted the case to the CBI, which, upon conducting its inquiry, ultimately affirmed the findings of the initial crime branch report.
