Udal OTT Release Date And Platform: The gripping Malayalam movie 'Udal,' featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan, Durga Krishna, and Indrans in lead roles, captured the audience's attention upon its theatrical release on May 20, 2022.
The movie 'Udal,' starring Indrans, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Durga Krishna, is set for an OTT release on January 5 via the Saina platform. Ratheesh Raghunandan is the writer and director of 'Udal'.
The film premiered in theatres on May 20, 2022, and was produced by Sri Gokulam Gopalan for Sri Gokulam Movies. The delay in the OTT release was attributed to ongoing discussions about a Hindi remake. Praveen and Baiju Gopalan served as co-producers.
Earlier reports hinted at the Hindi remake of 'Udal,' fueling speculations that Gokulam Movies, a significant Malayalam film production company behind 'Udal,' might enter the Hindi and Telugu film domains. Ratheesh Raghunandan, the director of 'Udal,' is also slated to lead the Hindi adaptation.

Indran portrayed the character Kuttichaayan, while Dhyan Sreenivasan embodied Kiran, and Durga Krishna brought Shiny Chacko to life on screen.
The cinematography was handled by Manoj Pillai, the editing was crafted by Nishad Yusuf, and the musical score was composed by William Francis.
Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Gokulam Movies, 'Udal' is an emotionally charged film written and directed by Ratheesh Raghunandan. The co-producers of the movie are V.C. Praveen and Baiju Gopalan, with Krishnamurthy serving as the executive producer.
The film delves into the life of Shiny, who cares for her bedridden mother-in-law while living with her father-in-law, Kuttichan.
