Aadujeevitham OTT Release: "Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life)" is a Malayalam survival drama movie crafted by Blessy, who served as the writer, director, and co-producer. A result of collaboration between Indian and American production houses, the film debuted in cinemas on March 28, 2024, offering audiences a captivating and immersive cinematic journey.

"Aadujeevitham" is based on the highly regarded 2008 Malayalam novel by Benyamin, drawing inspiration from real-life incidents. In the movie, Prithviraj Sukumaran takes on the role of Najeeb, a Malayali labourer who becomes entrapped as a goat herder on a distant Saudi Arabian farm.

The film's journey commenced in 2009 when Blessy chose to adapt "Aadujeevitham" following his reading of the novel in 2008. Prithviraj was selected for the lead role that same year, and Blessy collaborated with Benyamin on the screenplay. However, financial obstacles impeded progress on the project. Blessy dedicated several years to securing a producer, finally succeeding in 2015, which allowed the project to advance. Jimmy Jean-Louis and Steven Adams joined as producers, and A. R. Rahman was brought on board to compose the film's original score and songs.

The filming process spanned six phases from March 2018 to July 2022, encompassing diverse locations such as the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, the Sahara in Algeria, and several locales in Kerala, India. A pause of 70 days occurred during filming in the Jordanian desert between March and May 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. Subsequently, the crew was repatriated to India via the Indian government's Vande Bharat Mission. Filming concluded on July 14, 2022.
