Grrr, now streaming on OTT: "Grrr," a highly anticipated Malayalam comedy-drama directed by Jay K, stars Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu in leading roles. The film premiered in theaters on June 14.

Grrr Synopsis

A drunk individual stumbles into the lion enclosure at the zoo, prompting a security guard to step in and rescue them. This encounter with Darshan, the lion king, in his territory dramatically changes their fates.

The trailer reveals the story of Rejimon Nadar, played by Kunchacko Boban, whose mysterious disappearance raises the question of whether he was the victim of foul play or betrayal. The comedic twist comes when it's revealed that he drunkenly leapt into the lion enclosure at Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. Suraj Venjaramoodu stars as Haridas, a zoo officer tasked with rescuing Rejimon before authorities arrive. However, Haridas ends up trapped with Rejimon, leading to a series of humorous mishaps. The trailer also explores Haridas's personal life and Rejimon's romantic adventures, infusing humor and depth into the plot. It also critiques the media sensationalism surrounding the incident while addressing serious issues like caste discrimination and honor killings.
