Several years ago, screenwriter Deepu Pradeep pitched the story to Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was initially slated to portray the character of Vinu.Initially, another director was set to lead the project until Vipin Das took over the helm.

Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil Production

Principal photography for the film commenced on May 12, 2023. To facilitate filming, a replica of the Guruvayoor Temple was constructed in Karattupallikkara, Perumbavoor municipality. The second phase of filming took place in Dubai and concluded in early July. Although Prithviraj was slated to join the shoot during the third phase, it was delayed due to an injury sustained on the sets of Vilayath Buddha. He eventually joined the production in Guruvayoor in the final week of November. Filming for the fourth phase concluded in Kochi by early January 2024, wrapping up the entire shoot on April 4, 2024.
