Years ago, Deepu Pradeep, the film's writer, presented the story to Prithviraj Sukumaran, who was initially envisioned for the lead role of Vinu. While a different director was attached to the project at first, Vipin Das ultimately took the director's reins.

Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil Production

Cameras started rolling on "Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil" on May 12th, 2023. To capture the essence of the story, a replica of the Guruvayoor Temple was even built in Karattupallikkara, Perumbavoor. The crew then headed to Dubai for the second filming phase, which wrapped up in early July. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran was originally scheduled to join during the third part of filming, but an injury while working on another movie ("Vilayath Buddha") caused a delay. He was finally able to join the production in Guruvayoor by the end of November. The final filming phase took place in Kochi, concluding in early January 2024. All filming was completed by April 4th, 2024.
