Turbo OTT Release: The action-comedy film "Turbo," directed by Vysakh, features a screenplay by Midhun Manuel Thomas and is produced by Mammootty's production company, Mammootty Kampany.

In "Turbo," Mammootty, Raj B. Shetty, and Sunil play pivotal roles. The film's music and background score are composed by Christo Xavier, with cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Shameer Muhammed.

Principal photography for "Turbo" began in Coimbatore in October 2023 and concluded on February 18, 2024. The film was released in theatres on May 23, 2024, and grossed over ₹70 crore at the worldwide box office.

Turbo OTT Release Date

The digital streaming rights for "Turbo" were acquired by the Sony LIV platform. Despite several rumoured release dates following its theatrical run, the movie's OTT debut was delayed. Recently, Sony LIV officially confirmed that "Turbo" will be available for streaming starting August 9. The platform will offer the original Malayalam version as well as dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.

Turbo Synopsis

Aruvipurathu Jose, commonly known as "Turbo" Jose, is a jeep driver from Idukki notorious for his frequent brawls. Seeking a fresh start, he relocates to Chennai. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Vetrivel Shanmuga Sundaram, a ruthless crime boss involved in a major banking scandal.

Turbo Cast

"Turbo" features a talented ensemble cast led by Mammootty as Aruvipurathu Jose, known as Turbo Jose. Raj B. Shetty portrays Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, a central character in the story, while Sunil plays Auto Billa. Anjana Jayaprakash stars as Indulekha, and Kabir Duhan Singh takes on the role of Vincent, Vetrivel's business associate. Bindu Panicker appears as Aruvipurathu Rosakutty, Jose's mother, and Shabareesh Varma plays Jerry, Jose's loyal friend.
