The narrative unfolds amidst a backdrop merging ancient Indian Hindu mythology with a dystopian society, spanning millennia from the epochal events of the Mahabharata in 3102 BC, marking the onset of Kali Yuga, to the futuristic setting of 2898 AD. Central to the tale is the enigmatic arrival of Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu.
